Milena Amaral, 2026 Spanish-Brazilian artist Milena Amaral works at the intersection of generative AI and the historical traditions of figurative representation. Her practice treats the latent space of text-to-image models as an archaeology of representation, where every era folds into a single computational instant. Digital Caryatid (2026), her current work, is a contemporary transposition of the antique figure of sustenance. The work asks what, and who, sustains today the fragile edifice of our inner equilibrium.
